“I was warned off against the get rich stuffing envelopes thing. There were tons of people who wanted to show me how easy it was to make money on the internet. Most of them wanted me to sell courses on how to make money on the internet. I did do some web page design, but so did everyone else in the world so that didn’t pay the bills.

“The best one was the surveys. You sit at home and get rich taking surveys. You end up spending hours for very little money & your e-mail overflows with all kinds of “incredible” offers and ads for stuff you can’t buy even if you want it because you aren’t making any money working from home.

“Thank God my husband was working because it didn’t look like working at home was a real thing.”

Abigail heard about me through a mutual friend. I told her about Forex trading and that I teach people how to do it and she said she wasn't sure if she was the right kind of person for it. “What is this Forex trading and how do I do it?”

All day, every day, people and companies buy things from other countries. Almost every country in the world has its own money. The Canadians have Canadian Dollars which are different than U.S Dollars. Mexico has Pesos and Japan has Yen.

If you buy something that was made in Japan in a store in the U.S. somebody had to pay the Japanese company that made it. The Japanese company takes the dollars it gets and coverts them in to Yen so they can pay their bills in Japan (or they might just buy US real estate or hide it somewhere in an offshore account, but that's a whole other discussion).

The prices of one currency against another are always changing and a Forex trader tries to find one currency that is going up in price and buys it. The idea is to sell it later for more than you paid for it. You can actually make money on it going down as well!!

It’s just like buying anything else and selling it for a profit except that what you are buying and selling is money! You do it all on your computer at home. You don't have to find the buyers or make a sales pitch—you just click your mouse. The market is regulated by the Federal government, so you know it's not a scam.
